Item Description
Here's a Zin that makes you think. A vibrant and powerful fruit-focused wine. Pronounced spice pairs with berry notes for an intriguing bouquet. Luscious cherry, blackberry, and raspberry flavors precede black pepper, mint, and cinnamon components. Smoky oak completes this well-integrated, beautifully balanced wine. The finish is long and lush with firm tannins.
The Dry Creek Valley and Zinfandel are virtually synonymous – in short, some of the finest Zinfandels made today hail from our tiny winegrowing region in Northern Sonoma County. In 1999, we made a few special commemorative bottles of our Reserve Zinfandel in hand-painted 3.0L bottles. The fruit for this wine came from our estate Zinfandel vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley. Aged in French and American oak for 18 months, this complex and well-structured wine is rich and concentrated yet elegant with a long and memorable finish. This one-of-a-kind bottle represents our finest expression of Zinfandel and pays homage to our sailing inspired labels.
