Item Description
Enjoy a cozy night away at The American Hotel in historic Sharon Springs, New York! A 1847 Greek Revival-style mansion, this classic hotel will make you excited to get away.
After being vacant for more than 30 years, current owners Doug Plummer and Garth Roberts purchased the decaying structure for $18,000 at a tax sale in 1996. After an extensive renovation, the American Hotel re-opened its doors May 23, 2001. With the help of The New York Times and Rachel Ray, the American Hotel has become a favorite getaway to thousands of visitors throughout the year, initiating a village-wide revitalization. Come see what makes this place great!
