Formerly the Columbia Queen, she is undergoing a multimillion dollar refurbishment to reflect a subtle but elegant French-inspired ambience to embrace the rich history of the areas she sails, once known as French America. Brimming with exquisite French style and the romantic joie de vivre of her home port of New Orleans, inaugural itineraries for a maximum of 150 guests with an attentive U.S. crew of 64 begins this fall.
The Lousiane’s small size allows her to access historic river ports on five American rivers that larger ships cannot reach. This creates a unique opportunity to see and experience ports that haven’t been accessed by a U.S. river ship in more than a decade, visiting places where larger riverboats cannot navigate.

Pricing is virtually all-inclusive, with one-night pre-cruise deluxe hotel stay and breakfast; daily breakfast, lunch, dinner onboard in two open seating dining venues as well as 24-hour room service and free-flowing house wines, spirits, beers, artisanal coffees and teas, soft drinks, sparking and still water; nightly live entertainment; expert talks by onboard Illuminators™; Traveler Collection™ guided shore excursions and complimentary use of bicycles with helmets and maps for private explorations are included in the tariff. You’ll stay in a French Balcony Stateroom, reflecting an elegant blend of a soothing color palette and classic architecture with every modern convenience, including satellite television and direct-dial telephones. These luxurious staterooms are gracefully furnished and include a French balcony to absorb the ever-changing landscape. Each offers a double armoire with built-in drawer storage, a desk, a seating area and two standard-sized twin beds that convert to one queen-sized bed. Closets contain more than enough space for your personal wardrobe, as well as plush spa-quality bathrobes and slippers.
The world is at your fingertips with an iPad® in your Stateroom on which you will find menus and daily programs, as well as e-books and articles relevant to the area in which the Louisiane is sailing.
