Another rare treat from our friends in the UAE!
The Emirates Park Zoo has donated a few paintings that were completed by one of their resident cheetahs, Jasper.
Jasper was rescued from smugglers and is now a happy resident of the Emirates Park Zoo, where he sometimes creates wonderful paintings.
Here we have Jasper's "Black" painting. At the office we have dubbed this "Winter's Night." Laptop is used for scale.
Enjoy a video about Jasper and see him in action! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMZNVGmVoFE

Item Special Note
Jasper is a rescued cheetah who currently lives at Emirates Park Zoo and Resort in Abu Dhabi. This young cheetah cub was one of four cubs rescued from animal smugglers at the Saudi Arabian border. Caregivers treated the cubs for malnourishment and feline leukemia, but unfortunately two of the cubs passed away two days later from disease. Jasper is one of the two surviving cubs who was able to fully recover and become well-adapted to the zoo environment. This friendly cub was trained at six months old to become an ambassador animal by learning behaviors such as sit down, target, and station. In July he was trained by the diligent zoo staff to paint using non-toxic children’s finger paint through the use of his trained behaviors and positive reinforcement. His paintings and job as an ambassador help teach people about the horrors of wildlife trafficking and further help cheetahs in the wild.
