Bid on a one-day internship for your high school or college student at NBCUniversal at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. Your student will have the unique opportunity to shadow a Marketing executive in their Cable Entertainment Networks Group --- home of the Emmy Award-winning Mr. Robot, plus critically acclaimed shows such as Suits, The Magicians, The Expanse and Colony, and TV favorites such as the Sharknado franchise, WWE Raw and Chrisley Knows Best. They will learn firsthand what goes into getting new shows launched and how shows are marketed.
Your student’s host for the day will be, Lamont Swittenberg, who is head of Marketing Strategy for USA and Syfy Networks and a seasoned Marketing executive. In addition to NBCUniversal, Lamont has worked for world-renown brands such as Virgin, Coca-Cola, Cadbury Schweppes/Dr Pepper, and HP. He has also worked on the advertising/media agency side of the business.
In addition to the opportunity to shadow Mr. Swittenberg, your student’s internship will include:

âÂÂÂÂ Meetings with the President and the Chief Marketing Officer of USA and Syfy Networks
âÂÂÂÂ An opportunity to select a specialty marketing/creative area for a more in-depth discussion/informational interview
âÂÂÂÂ An opportunity to meet with a recent hire/entry-level marketing manager to get the “scoop”
âÂÂÂÂ Lunch in the famous NBC Commissary
âÂÂÂÂ An NBC swag bag
