Item Description
"The Driver That Bombs It Long"
The B-2 Bomber Driver combines a modern look with a traditional shape. The B-2, geared for the mid- to low-handicap golfer, is designed for speed. The sleek design offers some cleverly hidden club improvement features. Through advanced engineering, this club generates incredible MOI (moment of inertia) by moving discretionary weight to the perimeter of the head. Additionally, the vertical and horizontal centers of gravity have been pushed as low and far back as possible to create optimum launch for increased distance. An aerodynamic face profile and skirt offer far less drag than conventional 460cc drivers. To increase distance even further, we didn’t just modify the shape of the club head, but also modified its weight, which plays an equally important role in distance. Decreasing the head weight from the industry average of 202 grams to 197 grams guarantees an increase in a golfer’s swing speed.
The B-2 Bomber’s sole geometry features two subtle rails, which create a rectangular cavity, or “velocity channel”. From a designer’s perspective, this creates structural reinforcement for decreased flexure. The sole design aids the golfer in creating a consistent clubface at address. Additionally, this wind channel reduces drag by allowing air to flow freely through the apex of the sole. All these design elements combine to achieve maximum energy transfer for increased ball speed.
