Item Description
Articulated fish bone pendant is made of Mexican sterling silver, with an amethyst eye. This vintage piece has a "day of the dead" feeling, but also a jaunty cheer about it. Look up the symbolism of fish and fish bones on the internet and see the variety of facts and speculations.
The fish measures about 3 1/2 inches in length and 1 1/2" inches wide at the widest point. There are no hallmarks but professional appraisal verifies sterling silver and amethyst. The pendant is in good vintage condition with normal signs of wear. The chain is about 19 1/2" long, has no markings, and is in good condition.
