Sponsored by the Thoreau Society, Inc. as part of its celebrations of the upcoming 2017 bicentennial of Thoreau’s birth, and supported by grants from the Thoreau Society and Boston University’s Center for the Humanities, this collection of 16 original essays by leading and emerging Thoreau scholars, will be published this October by Cambridge University Press.
