About the show:
Following a sold out and critically acclaimed engagement Off-Broadway at the Public Theater, Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage's Sweat transfers to Broadway in a production directed by Kate Whoriskey. This stunning new play is about the collusion of race, class, family, and friendship, and the tragic, unintended costs of community without opportunity. Sweat was co-commissioned by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and D.C.'s Arena Stage, where it played world premiere engagements.
SYNOPSIS: A group of friends have spent their lives sharing drinks, secrets and laughs while working together on the line of a factory floor, but when layoffs and picket lines begin to chip away at their trust, they themselves pitted against each other in the hard fight to stay afloat.
About Khris Davis:
Khris Davis is one of the original cast members of Sweat, following the production to Broadway from its Off-Broadway run at The Public Theater. Davis' recent stage credits include The Royale at Lincoln Center, Colossal with Dallas Theatre Company, Bill Durham at ALLIANCE THEATRE, Love in Afghanistan at Areana Stage, Ruined with The Philadelphia Theatre Company, and Antigone, Othello, Arms and the Man, and Wind in the Willows with the Quintessence Theatre Group.

RESTRICTIONS: Tickets may be used for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday performances of Sweat, between April 4 and May 31, 2017. Scheduling for this prize is subject to the availability of tickets and must be mutually agreed upon between the auction winner and Mr. Davis.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to prevent credit card fraud, if the winning bid exceeds $1,000, The Drama League of New York will require a signed credit card authorization form, a photocopy of both sides of the purchasing credit card (all but the last 4 digits may be blacked out), and proof of identity (state-issued photo ID – private ID numbers may be blacked out), OR payment via check or money order before arranging the prize package for the winner.
