Item Description

Behind-the-scenes tour and free admission for 4 guests with Nicole Minor, Exploratorium Director of Moving Images. For ages 7 & up.

Go behind the scenes at the Exploratorium with a long time staffer who will take you into the Machine Shop where you’ll see how exhibits are made and maintained, give you a peek inside the Bio Lab that takes care of the museum’s small living critters, and introduce you to staffers along the way!

The Exploratorium, one of San Francisco's most iconic attractions, is the world's most experimental and interactive museum. Exhibits are developed and made onsite. Explore a range of areas, including human perception, the life sciences, physical phenomena, local environment (water, wind, fog, rain, sun, and other elements, as well as cityscape, landscape, and the flora and fauna of the Bay) and human behavior (such as cooperation, competition, and sharing).
