Item Description

Enjoy two tickets to Present Laughter on Broadway, and an opportunity to meet its star Kevin Kline backstage after the show!

About the show:

Academy Award and two-time Tony Award-winner Kevin Kline makes his long awaited return to the Broadway stage following a decade-long absence to star in Noël Coward's uproarious comedy Present Laughter. Directed by Tony-nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Hand to God), this strictly limited engagement marks Mr. Kline's return to Broadway's St. James Theatre, the site of his first Tony Award-winning turn in On the Twentieth Century.

SYNOPSIS: Noel Coward's totally-irresistible and semi-autobiographical comedy follows a self-obsessed actor in the midst of a mid-life crisis. Freely indulging his considerable appetite for wine, women and sleeping late, the theatre’s favorite leading man suddenly finds himself caught between fawning ingénues, crazed playwrights, secret trysts and unexpected twists.

About Kevin Kline:

Kevin Kline has a rich career of award-winning performances both on stages and screens. He began his career on stage with The Acting Company, after which Kline went on to win two Tony Awards for his work in Broadway musicals, winning Best Featured Actor in a Musical for the original production of On the Twentieth Century and Best Actor in a Musical for a revival of The Pirates of Penzance. Kline was last scene on Broadway as Falstaff in the Broadway production of Henry IV, for which he won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Play.

His film career took off following his Tony wins, with Kline making his debut opposite Meryl Streep in Sophie's Choice. He went on soon after to win the Academy Award for Best Suporting Actor for his role in the comedy hit A Fish Called Wanda.  His other films include The Big Chill, Silverado, Dave, The Ice Storm, In & Out, and My Old Lady.  Since 2011, Kline has had a recurring role on the animated comedy series Bob's Burgers.
