Item Description
This is an 8" x 10.5" paper advertisement that was used to promote the commemorative 5-cent Henry David Thoreau stamp first placed on sale on July 12, 1967 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Thoreau's birth.
Included with the flier are (4) first day of issue Thoreau stamps adheared to the flier.
This flier is in fine condition, but with a small tear at the bottom.
A perfect item to be framed and displayed for any Thoreauvian or stamp-collector.
