If you are looking for a week in a rustic hideaway, this house in the center of Chincoteague is waiting just for you. It is a century old working persons house thats a perfect retreatsoothing and quiet, tucked into a pleasant neighborhood. Owners claim the screened porch is the best place to sit and watch the world go by. Wifi and a stash of DVDs. Bedrooms have air conditioners. The house sleeps four people; one queen and two twin beds. The island is quiet, attractive to families and nature lovers. Attractions include the National Seashore and Nature Reserve on neighboring Assateague Island. Tours for both are available. There are plenty of restaurants, but owners Gretchen and Bob say they like to take advantage of the abundant seafood and cook at home.
