Item Description

1 bottle each:

2012 Vino Noceto, The Original Grandpere Vineyard, Amador County

Produced from the historic Original Grandpere Vineyard in California’s Shenandoah Valley of Amador County, this Zinfandel is the epitome of Sierra Foothill old-vine Zinfandel. The Granpere  is is reputably the oldest, documented, producing Zinfandel vineyard in the state, dating back to the 1860’s. This is Vino Noceto’s eleventh vintage from the vineyard.

2011 Terra d'Oro, Deaver Vineyard, Amador County

This powerful wine is sourced from 100-year-old vines in the famous Deaver vineyard. There's a touch of pepper behind the thick tannins and oak. It's a long lasting wine with leathery blackberry fruit that should come to the fore over time.

2012 Scott Harvey Wines, Vineyard 1869, Old Vine, Amador County

While slightly reserved in aroma, this serious, special-occasion wine comes on steady and strong in flavor. Blueberry and black cherry notes pick up more raspberry and red cherry with each sip. In addition to fruit complexity, it has a full body, sleek texture and lingering finish. Best now through 2020.

Wine Enthusiast: 93pts

2010 Artezin, Esola Vineyard, Amador County

Medium ruby color is right in line with the rest of the Amador flight. Nose of soft red fruits, dark chocolate, somewhat port-like. Palate is red cherry with orange zest, black pepper, coarse tannins and a little heat on the finish. 15.4% ABV.

This wine was raised in 100% old French oak, all previously used Cabernet Sauvignon barrels more than two years old.

2005 Easton Wines, Shenandoah Valley, Amador County

The fruit originates from the old Baldinelli property that was planted in the early 1970’s. We choose from several lots. Vines are head-trained and unirrigated. The vineyard is rigorously suckered for proper cluster spacing and sun exposure to get full flavor development. Flavors are full, rich, smooth, and gutsy. Our Zinfandel’s have no residual sugar and nice balancing acidity. We have bottled the wine in our EASTON “Estate” package with its’ distinctive, but classic label design and heavy bottle.

2007 Amador Cellars, Select Reserve, Amador County
