Item Description
This original mid-20th century souvenir postcard shows an aerial view of Rochester's central business district. The progress in the demolition for the new Community War Memorial dates this card to the spring of 1953. The card is archivally framed using museum standard acid and lignin free cotton rag boards under ultraviolet filtering glass. The walnut finished frame measures 8 3/4 inches wide by 10 3/4 inches high. Mounting hardware is included. Five additional views of Rochester in the 1950's are available in the 2017 WXXI Auction.
