Item Description
This wonderful lithograph by local artist Len Rusin is #15 of 650. The signed and framed piece measures 26" x 42". The scene depicts a pair of elegant Canandian Geese that are swimming in a marsh in the early morning. A unique swooping incursion into the mat for a baby chick hand drawn by the artist is delightful! The detail in this work is outstanding! Len Rusin specializes in nature art & wildlife art, creating landscapes and other work in the Plein Air style. Rusin recently retired after 34 years of teaching art in Niagara Falls, NY and is now a full time wildlife artist. His inspiration to paint nature developed while backpacking through several northeastern states, Alaska, Florida, and Canada. Using his field notes, sketches and photographs during these excursions he captures the feeling of being a part of nature. The works he creates give a real feeling of "being there" in the outdoors. They are crafted with meticulous skill and emotion. This artist has work in several collections around the country, has won awards in many shows, and has had his work published in magazines such as Wildlife Art and the NY Conservationist. He is a member of several art and conservation groups.
