Item Description
This spectacular large piece of original Egyptian art is framed and ready to hang in your home as a focal point in a living room, dining room, or bedroom. It measures 31 1/2" x 37 3/4". The intricate painting reminds you of elaborate hieroglyphics. It is done on papyrus paper with a black painted background. There are rich colors of red, turquoise, silver, browns, tans, rusts, white, and royal blue. Two crowned royal figures are surrounded by Egyptian stylized designs and symbols. The mat is a rich rust shade that picks up a color from the painting. The glossy finish black frame is accented with 2 gold stripes. There is a graceful Arabic makers signature in black on the lower left corner of the plain papyrus border of the piece. The painting was purchased in Luxor Egypt about 1992.
