Join us for a journey through time and space in the Highlands of Guatemala. Maya Viva, the community tourism program of the Association of Highland Women -amaguate.org - is partnering with the Highland Support Project to provide you and a companion with a unique and non-commercial experience.
The tour includes:
- Private ground transportation in a late model truck with trusted driver
- Housing in Quetzaltenango and the valley of Ixteuacan
- Traditional meals prepared by the cooks of Q'anil
- Traditional Sweat-bath
- Backstrap weaving instruction
- Private Maya healing ceremony
- Energy cleansing
- Visit with Maya Spirit Guide to learn your Nauhal and its meaning
- Make corn nixtamal for tortillas from scratch
- Learn about seed saving and Maya agriculture
- Visit pre-Columbian city site
- Enjoy a visit to volcanic hot springs

The Highland Women's Organization is a program of the Highland Support Project. With over twenty years of experience in facilitating academic and faith-based cultural exchanges, you can depend on experienced guides with attention to your health and safety.
Proceeds from the auction support a Maya Midwifery program to improve infant and maternal well-being in underserved communities in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.
