Item Description
Package includes One night's stay in a king size bed room at the Godfrey Hotel and a $100 gift certificate to Ruka Restobar!
Youthful and open minded, snazzy and sophisticated, The Godfrey Hotel Boston is modernizing the boutique hotel experience: a sophisticated yet totally laid-back setting where you will feel entirely at ease.
Born of its lively neighborhood in the heart of Boston, Downtown Crossing, The Godfrey Hotel Boston is pure energy from the collaboration-friendly lobby and lounge to George Howell Coffee to the fanciful and eclectic RUKA Restobar.
RUKA embraces the exquisite presentations and bold flavors of Nikkei and Chifa fare with menu items like tiradito (Peruvian sushi) and sauces that use one of Peru's beloved peppers -- the spicy-sweet aji panca. The restaurant's decor encompasses numerous hand-painted Asian-themed murals. The wood for the tables and the bar comes from a tree found by the restaurant's decorator.
Led by Executive Chef Preston Miller, formerly of The Breslin in NYC, RUKA offers Boston’s first Nikkei (Peruvian-Japanese) and Chifa (Peruvian-Chinese) menu. Each dish embraces the exquisite presentations and bold flavors of Nikkei and Chifa culinary traditions while expressing the harmony of South America’s dramatic landscapes and vibrant cities with organic design and dynamic service. In addition, beverage offerings are designed to take guests on a journey: as the menu progresses, the options become more adventurous, but each cocktail is crafted to accentuate the tastes of Peru and palates of the dishes. A dedicated sushi bar is directed by Oishii Sushi Bar’s Ting Yen and Bing Liu.
