Item Description
Celebrate the beauty of California's largest estuary with a 20" x 12" print by renowned Delta photographer Rich Turner. "Firewater" spectacularly captures a California Delta sunset, as the sun reflects its rich color across the waves of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. This ready-to-frame archival pigment luster print is printed on Red River Ultra Pro Satin paper, and is hand titled and signed by the artist.
Rich Turner began his photography career in the U.S. Navy photographing assignments from the back seat of supersonic jets and in exotic locations, including the Antarctica. His subsequent work as an award-winning photojournalist at the Roseville Press-Tribune (3 years) and the Stockton Record (16 years) newspapers led to opening his own fine art and commercial photography studio in 1990.
His camera has captured the changing vistas and compelling character of vast natural resources, most notably in the Delta; some of the results of this journey can be seen in Exhibit Envoy's traveling exhibition, Delta Grandeur, which features Turner's work. The exhibit just closed at the Museum on Main in Pleasanton.
