Item Description
Cherry Blossoms Candle
by RedEnvelope
In a historic 1912 ceremony, the mayor of Tokyo presented 3,000 Japanese cherry
trees to the United States as a sign of goodwill. This symbolic gesture launched a
friendship that endures nearly a century later. Our oversize candle celebrates the
spirit of generous friendship with its grand scale and intricately detailed design.
Crafted entirely of wax, the outside features delicate branches with hand-painted
cherry blossoms in relief. Inside is a two-wick, unscented white candle; as it burns
down, the exterior becomes illuminated. Exclusively from RedEnvelope.sky-blue
