Item Description
Emory Knoll Farms in Street, Maryland is a leader in the production of plants for green roofs. Owner and founder Ed Snodgrass is a specialist in green roof technology and horticulture. He consults all over the world with architects and those eager to grow plants for green roofs.
This package will include a signed copy of the book “Small Green Roofs” that Ed co-authored with colleagues. In addition, this package will include a case of 3 trays of 72 plugs each from the “Mid-Atlantic Green Roof Mix.” That’s 216 individual plants and an assortment of about 20 different varieties, many of them the toughest and best sedum varieties.
If you are not from the Mid-Atlantic, Ed and his team will select the best varieties for your green roof. And if you don’t have a green roof, each of these varieties are drought tolerant low growing plants that will work well in a well drained soil in a sunny location. Some are even great for the space between stones on a patio. You won’t find a collection of plants such as this anywhere. Shipping is included in this package.
