AIB community Lewisburg, West Virginia has been recognized as one of the “Coolest Small Town in America.” With history that dates back to native Shawnees and early American settlers, Lewisburg has many historic homes and buildings. In recent years, there has been great interest in adding beauty and charm to Lewisburg with flowering hanging baskets, mini parks and model farms. AIB Board member Mayor John Manchester invites you to visit. The internationally renowned perennial plant nursery Sunshine Farm and Gardens is very close by as is the famous Greenbrier luxury resort.
This package provides lodging in two famous hotels, so you’ll get to experience more of the Greenbrier Valley. You will enjoy a midweek overnight stay for two at The Greenbrier, a world famous, award-winning resort that is located amid the breathtakingly beautiful Allegheny Mountains. Breakfast is included in your stay.
This exciting getaway continues with a two-night stay at the historic General Lewis Inn just a 5-minute walk to downtown Lewisburg, an award winning AIB community. You will receive a gift certificate for dinner at the Stardust Cafe that specializes in organic farm to table cuisine.
You and your guest will be treated to a personal tour of Lewisburg with Mayor John Manchester. And great American plantsman Barry Glick will give you a tour of his nursery Sunshine Farm and Gardens just 45 minutes away - and he will treat you to $100 worth of plants. Sunshine Farm and Gardens is famous for hellebores and its collection of native American plants.
