Item Description
Wear a bit of the wild with these deer antler earrings and pendants. They are made by sanding and polishing sawed sections of antler. Antlers, which are borne by male members of the deer family (and by female caribou), are the fastest-growing bone in any mammal. Because antlers are grown, shed, re-grown annually, they are a RENEWABLE resource! Antler shape, size, configuration, and density vary with geography, animal age, mineral status, nutrition and genetics, making each piece of jewelry distinctive and unique. Hand crafted by a friend of The Dorsky.
