Item Description

One pair of antique (19th century) Parian Ware statuary lamps.
Each lamp has a faux double candelabra and distinct romanticized
figurines (appx. 3' tall).

A note about Parian Ware: a type of bisque porcelain imitating marble. It was developed around 1845 by the Staffordshire pottery maker Mintons, and named after Paros, the Greek island renowned for its fine-textured, white Parian marble, used since antiquity for sculpture.
