Two Metallic Pink Pillows by Chanee Vijay Textiles - Dottie and Doha
Dottie pillow is a hand-printed lumbar pillow. Front side is done in metallic pink ink. Cut-and-sewn with premium organic cotton/hemp in off-white. Complemented with a matching organic /cotton hemp back, and an ultra-plump down-and-feather insert with an invisible zipper closure. Made with solvent-free, water-based inks and measures 14x26".
Doha pillow is a hand-printed lumbar pillow. Front side is done in metallic pink ink. Cut-and-sewn with premium organic cotton/hemp in off-white. Complemented with a matching organic /cotton hemp back, and an ultra-plump down-and-feather insert with an invisible zipper closure. Made with solvent-free, water-based inks and measures 12"x20".

Chanee Vijay is a textile design studio based in Manhattan Beach, CA. Founded in 2012, our goal is to create high quality, statement designs that reflect the individuality of each home. Specializing in surface pattern design, Chanee developed her signature style of painting her designs on screens as well as carving them into blocks, and hand printing on organic hemp.
Chanee's designs have been in Better Homes and Gardens, Sunset Magazine, Lonny, Sweet Paul, Style at Home, NY Times, Design*Sponge, Remodelista, Design Milk, and Apartment Therapy. Featured at West Elm, Schoolhouse Electric Co., Terrain, and the Philadelphia Art Alliance.
We believe in quality. In a world where disposable design is the norm, we strive to create unique pieces sewn with durable, natural hemp fibers that soften with each wash while still retaining their color, shape and structure. We believe in responsibility - to our community and our planet. The 'how' is just as important as the design. We subscribes to a slow design philosophy, so each hand-printed piece is crafted with regard for health, real life and the environment. Chanee starts with beautifully woven and organically-grown French hemp. She prints with water-based, solvent-free textile inks that meet the strictest environmental standards.
