Item Description

This lot includes 2 bottles of 2012 Wild Hog Nova Vineyards Lake County Zinfandel, produced and bottled at Wild Hog Vineyards in Cazadero, Sonoma County, CA.

Crafted by winemaker Daniel Schoenfeld (who is earning a cult-like reputation), this 11th vintage Zin is made with certified organic vineyard fruit. Allowing the fruit to speak for itself, the wine was unfiltered to allow the full flavors to be extracted. Aged in American oak for 18 months, the result is a super small lot that shows a big, rich full-body with that dark fruit, pepper, and a bramblely flavor we love in high quality Zin. Rich and lively, with pure, deeply concentrated flavors, Zin lovers will agree: this mountain production is spot on to drink now.
