Item Description
“Collection #5”, by Mike Wright. Wall sculpture made of found lobster trap wood and rope.
Multi-award winning sculptor Mike Wright creates abstract assemblages of found painted wood.
Wright was represented in two group exhibitions in 2017; “Wood as Muse” at the Art Complex Museum in Duxbury, MA, and “Art Inspired by a Presidential Home,” a JFK Hyannis Museum invitational that was on view at the Cape Cod Museum of Art and at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.
Her work has been in numerous solo, invitational and juried exhibitions in Japan, New York City, East Hampton NY, Maryland, Montana, Louisiana, Miami, Boston and Provincetown. Her work is in the collection of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, the collection of the Cape Cod Museum of Art, and many private collections.
She is represented by Alden Gallery in Provincetown.
