Item Description

You are Bidding on two adult passes to watch Humpack and Blue Whales with Island Packers!

About Island Packers:

Cruising the California Channel Islands for education, recreation, and research since 1968. Let your island adventure begin with the experienced crew from Island Packers. Providing first rate transportation services for island hiking, camping, kayaking, whale watching, school field trips, sightseeing and harbor cruises.

About the Humpback / Blue Whale Watching Cruise (non-landing):

Once a rare sight in the waters of the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary, Humpback whales and the endangered Blue whale can be seen as they feed on swarms of krill.

Island Packers makes every attempt to show you these gentle giants of the deep, but can make no guarantee that these creature will make themselves available for viewing.

The concentration of feeding Blue and Humpback whales tends to be near the western end of the northern Channel Islands making these whale watching trips an all-day adventure. Reaching the feeding grounds may take from 2-3 hours. This trip is 7-8 hours in length with no island landing.

The journey often takes us past the west end of Santa Cruz Island, where one of the world’s largest sea caves, Painted Cave, is located. Weather and sea conditions permitting, you may have a chance to see one of the geological wonders of the Channel Islands.

Item Special Note
