Item Description
Clark-Claudon Vineyards—A Family Affair
--Private vineyard tour, tasting and lunch for four at the Clark-Claudon Vineyards on Howell Mountain with Laurie Claudon and Tom Clark
--One 1.5L 2013 Clark-Claudon Eternity Proprietary Red Wine (Robert Parker 95+ points)
Venture off the beaten path and taste the Clark-Claudon family’s commitment to excellence. Your perfect day on Howell Mountain includes a vineyard tour, vertical tasting of their critically acclaimed estate-grown Cabernet and magnificent Bordeaux blend, Eternity, with a cheese pairing -- topped off by a lunch on their vineyard cottage deck.
The Clark-Claudon Vineyards are peaceful, a solace to family and friends. Season after season, the vineyards produce exceptional fruit and feed the family’s soul as they practice the age-old art of wine growing.
Laurie Claudon and Tom Clark's vision was founded in the old tradition of family winemaking where art and science begin in the vineyard and end with a beautiful bottle of wine.
And so, to make sure that you have a little of the day to always remember, 1.5 L 2013 Eternity will be yours to take home. This stunning vintage of Eternity represents the collaboration of two great vineyard managers—Tom and Josh Clark, and two master winemakers, Frederic Delivert and Jean Hoefliger. Their goal was to take the tiny, intensely concentrated Clark-Claudon fruit and craft a world class Reserve Bordeaux Blend. And, so they did, and in his review, Robert Parker gave the wine 95+ points.
According to Laurie Claudon and Tom Clark, it takes three generations to produce a wine the caliber of Eternity: "... the wisdom of the first generation, the second generation’s drive to continue raising the bar, and the love and playfulness of the third generation to feed the inspiration."
