Item Description
From a chorus member:
"I've been developing and tending my garden for over 20 years, so it is very well established. The garden is at a point where this coming growing season many plants will need to be divided or thinned, making it a perfect time to offer some great plants to other gardeners (or would-be gardeners).
Available Plants (with cooperation from Mother Nature) will include:
-Coneflower (Echinacea)
-Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta)
-Sweet Woodruff (Galium odoratum)
-Montauk Daisy (Nipponanthemum)
-Sneezeweed (Helenium)
-Obedient Plant (Physostegia virginiana)
-Sunchoke- Hardy Sunflower (Helianthus tuberosa)
-Assorted hosta
The best time to dig and share these plants will be May and June.
Ideally, you'd come to my house in Cambridge for a walk around the garden and introduction (if needed) to what's growing. I'd dig and pot up your selections and give my best advice about replanting and care. Maybe you'll convince me to help put them in place in your garden. You can get a sense of the garden from the photos shown here."
