Festival at the Farm is celebration of real music, real food and real fun!

Presented by Pete & Gerry's Organic Eggs the expanded two-day event will feature two stages of live music, locally-sourced and inspired food vendors, culinary workshops and demos from local chefs, an onsite farmers market, backyard games and a craft vendor marketplace.

It is located just minutes from Boston at Prowse Farm, Canton, MA.

The farm provides natural good vibes with plenty of elbow room, a huge dance floor, and sprawling lawn for picnics, games, and booths where you can meet our farmers and charity partners. It's about creating a community event that's good for all -- music lovers who want to jam, foodies who want to eat delicious food and drink craft beer, and kids who want to run free.

Note:

Kids with General Admission tickets are welcome to accompany an adult in VIP, but dinner is only served to those with paid VIP tickets.

Kids & Family Zone
The Free Range Kids Zone will feature kid’s entertainment including storytelling with Big Joe the Storyteller, magic with Awesome Robb, and Amazing Animal Ambassadors, hands-on games, A Pop-Up Bookstore will be set up in conjunction with the non-profit More Than Words to bring a mini version of a kids bookstore to Festival at the Farm!

In addition, there will be Family-Friendly Festival Yoga, a Hoopla Zone with Hula-Hooping Fun from Bring the Hoopla, Performer Josh and the Jamtones will open up the festival both days.

About Commonwealth:

Commonwealth is the first restaurant for Chef/Owner Steve “Nookie” Postal, a veteran chef of Fenway Park, Oleana and Casablanca. Located in Boston’s vibrant Kendall Square, Commonwealth is a restaurant/market hybrid offering the best New England has to offer. Fresh ingredients shine in simple execution, while a full bar features craft cocktails, local brews and vintages. In 2012, Nookie was a finalist in “Around the World in 80 Plates” on Bravo network, circling the globe competing in culinary challenges in exotic places like Marrakesh, Florence and Buenos Aires.

Nookie held the post of Executive Chef at Boston’s landmark Fenway Park for six years, during which the Red Sox won the World Series in 2007 and Fenway was at the peak of the city’s attention.

Prior to his position at Fenway Park, Nookie worked as sous chef with the award-winning chef Ana Sortun at her restaurants, Casablanca and Oleana. While he was there, they were nominated for four James Beard Foundation Awards, including Best New Restaurant in the country.
