TRIP FEATURES:

4 Nights at Spring Creek Lodge located in Junin de los Andes, Argentina.
3 1/2 Days of guided fishing on the Alumine, Chimehuin, Collon Cura and Malleo River.
Valid for 2 people through December 30th, 2019.

DAY 1 - Arrive in San Martin de los Andes, Argentina, at the Chapelco Airport. Your guides will be waiting to greet you and transfer you to Spring Creek Lodge ( www.springcreek.com.ar ), your home for the next four nights. After check-in and a welcome lunch you will head to the Chimehuin River for an afternoon float. The Chimehuin is renowned for having some of the regions best mayfly hatches. Later in the early evening you will transfer back to Spring Creek Lodge and enjoy a Argentine wine tasting followed by a welcome dinner.

DAY 2 - Today you will float an 8 mile section of the Alumine River looking for rainbows and brown that range from 18 to 20 inches. This float will allow you to enjoy several different fishing techniques: sight casting to rising fish, hopper and dropper combinations through the riffles and casting streamers while you try to entice large browns. Tonight after you return to the lodge dinner will be served followed by a tango dancing show.

DAY 3 - Today you will walk and wade the upper section of the Malleo River. This is strictly a wading river and it offers some of the best dry fly fishing in northern Patagonia. The river is medium size and populated with browns and rainbows in the 16 to 20 inch range. However, the river holds a fair amount of browns over 20 inches in size. Throughout the day you will fish a mix of terrestrials and small dry flies. Tonight after dinner at the lodge you will be entertained by, Las Voces del Lanin, a local band that features folk music from Argentina and South America.

DAY 4 - The Collon Cura River float will be the fishing option today. Your float will begin near the confluence with the Chimehuin River and run for approximately 7 miles. You will be casting small dry flies and hopper / dropper set-ups to rainbows and browns averaging 15 - 20 inches. Return to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 5 - After breakfast a private transfer will shuttle you to the Chapelco Airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires.

INCLUDED: All lodging as described, all meals, soft drinks, beer, wine, full time professional guide, transportation to and from local airport to lodge, all special services described in the itinerary and fishing license.

EXCLUDED: International and local flights, Buenos Aires airport transfers, meals and lodging, laundry and gratuities.
