3 sleeping babies from clay created by artist, Linda Lewis (Narrative Sculptures in Clay). Art can be displayed as wallhangings or set on a table/pedestal.
From the artist: I made these pieces initially for an exhibit entitled “We’re all under the name sky” at Central College (Pella, IA). Babies remind me of hope and of the future. They bring back memories of holding sleeping babies—one of the best feelings in the world.

About the Artist:
Linda Lewis creates original, figurative clay sculptures that bring to life to ordinary people and the lives they represent - from a parent sharing a moment with a child to a middle-aged woman lamenting about what she looks like in a bathing suit to a person searching for a colorful life.
Linda Lewis uses slabs or coil to build the structures and uses glazing techniques and oxides that bring depth and texture to the surface. These sculptures speak volumes about the essence of everyday life and would make an excellent addition to any home.
She also presents her works in numerous events, such as SOFA Chicago, Cherry Creek Art Festival in Denver and Des Moines Arts Festival to name a few.

Proceeds from this online auction benefit 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, Healthy Birth Day, Inc. and its Count the Kicks public health campaign targeting at-risk women. Winning bidders will receive a tax receipt in the mail when the amount they bid is greater than the fair market value of the art.
