Item Description
Enjoy a 5-day/4-Night stay in Summer 2019 (June or September 7-30) in a cottage on Beaver Island near the top of the lower Michigan peninsula.
The cottage is 800 square feet and has 2 bedrooms and a new pull out sofa bed. The front bedroom is a queen bed and the back bedroom has 2 sturdy bunkbeds. The red daybed in the living room also sleeps one person.The cottage sleeps 7.
There is an inside bathroom and all electricity works. The kitchen is large and modern (circa 1990s!). The cottage sits on a bluff that is on 250 feet of private lake front with a gorgeous view. Perfect for sipping wine and coffee.
In the living room we have a natural gas wall furnace if heat is needed.

Winner can stay for 5 days anytime June 2019 or September 7-30, 2019.
Beach shoes are needed due to small stones on our beach.
Cottage is located 8 miles from town so a car is essential. Charlevoix transit company will run you back and forth but it needs a day in advance request. 231-582-6900. It is best to rent a car.
Winner must rent a car or bring their car over on the ferry. The cost is $120.00 for the car transport and the driver and car has to arrive 1.5 hours early to get the car on the ferry-and it must be scheduled a month ahead of departure and return date. The cost is for only the car. People are $62.00 RT each. Dogs and bikes are extra. Visit Beaver Island Boat Company for schedule here.
The other way to get there is from Charlevoix as well, but to fly on Island Airways. The boat is slightly cheaper but takes 2 hours. The flight is 17 minutes on average. www.islandairways.com

Cleaning fee of around $60 is charged to winner when stay is booked.
Winner should bring bed linen and beach towels. Bath and kitchen linens are available for use.
Kayaks are for rent in town and so are bikes.
