Item Description
Acrylic on Yupo
26.5" x 31.25" x 1.5"
This acrylic on Yupo is painted in an impressionistic style. Kristina decided to execute this work in acrylic on the plastic surface of Yupo "paper" because she felt that it would be the best surface to help her capture the splash effect of the seagull landing in the water.
Kristina N. Occhino holds a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College and an MA in Art Education from RISD. This year, she had watercolors accepted into many competitive shows including the North East Watercolor Society's 42nd Annual International Open Exhibition. She is a Signature member of the North East Watercolor Society and the RI Watercolor Society.
