"Night Reflection" is an intimate oil painting that draws the viewer from afar. White light from the clouds reflects in the watery slip along the horizon. Beecher uses rich glazes of blues and gold to highlight the low focal point in the sky adding mystery to this work. Though not a real place, this scene is fabricated through years of observation along with a creative spirit of the sublime.
Christina Beecher holds a BFA in Industrial design from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Christina works primarily in oils, and enjoys teaching art to students in her home studio. She is also an active member and trustee at the AAM. She is currently represented by Galatea Fine Arts, Boston, MA, True Grit Gallery in Middleboro MA, The Next Door Gallery in Mansfield, MA and at the Preservation Framer in North Attleboro, MA.
