"Light on Morey Street" is a familiar scene to anyone who comes to the Attleboro Art Museum. Morey Street is the left hand turn off Park Street that leads you to the Museum. From this view, it is another world, a simple neighborhood scene, illuminated by the setting sun. This is a visual story of how the AAM is integrated into the fabric of the community.
Karole Nicholson attended RISD studying advertising design. Pastel, collage and mixed media are her mediums of choice. Her award-winning work has appeared in many national juried exhibitions. She is a member of the Pastel Society of America, Pastel Painters of Cape Cod and the Providence Art Club. Exhibitions include the Vose Gallery, Attleboro Arts Museum, Next Door Gallery, True Grit Gallery and Illuminations Gallery.
