Item Description
24"x18" original digital art created on canvas by Dr. Neil Mandsager
The photo of this artwork does not do it justice...it has beautiful soft tones of greens and beiges that make this baby precious. Perfect for any home or office that is in the business of loving babies!
From the Artist:
After dabbling in photography for a number of years, I tried my hand at watercolor, and most recently digital painting. Learning by trial and error, it’s still a surprise when I’m able to produce something that resembles art. Inspired by the work of Count The Kicks, this portrait created from their Save the Date card for this event, is an attempt to recognize the importance of trying to reduce the disparity in stillbirth risk amongst African-American women.
About the Artist:
Dr. Mandsager started Perinatal Center of Iowa, LLC, in 1993. Born in Cameroon (a country located in west-central Africa), he was raised in Marshalltown, Iowa, and attended Wartburg College. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his OB-Gyn residency in Columbia, Mo., before spending four years in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Mandsager completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently board-certified in obstetrics-gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine. He is also a valuable member of the Count the Kicks Medical Advisory Board and a talented artist.
Shipping to contiguous United States included in bid price.
