This shoe design was inspired by the characters from the "Snazzy Cat Capers" book series that Deanna Kent and I created. I wanted to design the shoes that I, as a kid, would have wanted if I was a fan of the book—one shoe represents the world's number one cat burglar heroine Ophelia von Hairball, and the other shoe representing her world-class inventor, Oscar Fishgerald Gold! I've worked in some 'insider' imagery into these designs which will be fun for those fur-miliar with the story and characters. A signed book is included.

Item Special Note
Neil was drawing on the back of his dads work papers since he could hold a pencil. After a detour through college where he earned a mathematics degree, he found his way back to art through animation. He has worked as an illustrator, character designer, motion designer, and animator, for brands like Saatchi & Saatchi, Family Channel, Teletoon and more, but decided his passion was for creating content for kids and kids at heart. He recently left his role as Art Director for Brand and Marketing for the Disney Interactive Worlds team in Kelowna, Canada, where he worked with franchises such as Pixar, Star Wars, and more. He loves experimenting with various art styles and techniques to bring ideas and characters to life. Currently hes Art Director for Yeti Farm Creative, an animation studio in Kelowna.
