With text taken from the legendary 20-volume set of Thoreau's writings published by Houghton Mifflin in 1906. With eight color plate illustrations by Will Hammell. Green printed cloth. Houghton Mifflin Company, 1916. Hardcover, 191 pp. Out of print. Top edge of book block has age tanning and spots. Pages are clean. In good condition overall for its age.
