Item Description
Custom handmade cherry wood pieces were turned by BSS grandparents Ray “Grampy” Schwartz. The platter is 12 inches and the dish is 9 inches. While both can be used separately they are designed to fit together securely to make a cake stand. Newly worked Cherry seems to vary in color when freshly worked, but will slowly darken towards the traditional warm rich color.
Both pieces are finished in food safe walnut oil and bees wax. They can easily be buffed up at any time, or Mr. Schwartz will be happy to polish them on the lathe anytime. This one of a kind stand can be used as a cake platter, cheese board, chip and dip and much more!
Note: Natural Wood products are not dishwasher safe. Hand wash and wipe dry immediately.
