Item Description
Dust off your clubs, practice your swing, and join Jules Greene, Director of Diversity and Social Impact, AND Drew's first Golf Team Coach, for a round of golf at the prestigious Presidio Golf Course followed by lunch in the Presidio Cafe.
Jules is not only an avid golfer, she also played on her own high school golf team! And she's sharing her love of golf with our own Drew students this year!
First opened for public play in 1995, Presidio Golf Course has quickly gained a reputation as one of the nation’s top public courses. With stunning views, this 18-hole course plays 6,500 yards of challenging golf winding through beautiful Eucalyptus and Monterey Pine trees in The City’s trademark hills.
Designed with tight fairways and strategically placed bunkers, this 18-hole “hilly” golf course offers a unique challenge for golfers of all abilities. Originally designed by Robert Wood Johnstone, the course was expanded in 1910 by Johnstone in collaboration with William McEwan, and then was redesigned and lengthened by the British firm of Fowler & Simpson in 1921.
After 18 holes, you'll be ready for lunch at The Presidio Cafe which offers classic American comfort food with a California flair in a casual club environment.
