Item Description
Did you ever threaten to learn Swedish and emigrate to start a new life? You'll want to fit in, at least a bit, and the first course in a proper Swedish meal is a selection of pickled herring. This traditional treat is fun to make (and if your mouth is full nobody can tell your Swedish is bad).
Four lucky guests will join Drew mom Tina Owenmark (Annika '21) as she shares her Swedish heritage and herring pickling skills with you! We'll convene in the most convenient kitchen (party host or participants') to spend an afternoon learning this fine art. Participants will take home two 12 oz jars of freshly pickled herring and two kinds of knäkebröd (and a good running start on how to pronounce that!). Utsökt!
4 spots total, 2 spots sold at School Night!
