Webinar Title: Effective Collaboration: How to Navigate Difficult Situations with Professionalism and Success (120 minutes)
Presenter: Mary Jane Weiss, PhD, BCBA-D
Description: Most behavior analytic services are delivered in the context of interdisciplinary treatment, with practitioners from multiple fields of study delivering specialized services. In these contexts, practitioners often have differing worldviews, definitions of evidence, and understandings of evidence-based practices. Navigating these differences poses practical, ethical, and interpersonal challenges. Strategies for categorizing and addressing these dilemmas will be reviewed. Tools will also be presented that can be used to evaluate the demonstration of collaborative skills.
Webinar Logistics: We will utilize Google Hangout, Skype, or a videoconferencing platform that can be hosted by the agency of the winning bidder. The presentation would need to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time for the presenter and the winning bidder and occur between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. Winning bidder is prohibited from charging admission to this training. If you are already a CEU provider, we can provide learning objectives and a time ordered agenda. If you have any questions, please email David Celiberti at dceliberti@asatonline.org
