Webinar Title: Promoting the Generalization and Maintenance of Skills in Learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (120 minutes)
Presenter: David Celiberti, PhD, BCBA-D
Description: We are often disappointed to observe that skills successfully taught in one environment do not generalize or maintain over time. Efforts to address these shortcomings need to be individualized for each learner, planned for in a systematic manner, and connected to all phases of the teaching process. This workshop will describe some strategies to promote generalization and maintenance that bear particular relevance to both professionals and parents. Data collection tools and tracking forms relevant to generalization and maintenance will also be shared.
Webinar Logistics: We will utilize Google Hangout, Skype, or a videoconferencing platform that can be hosted by the agency of the winning bidder. The presentation would need to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time for the presenter and the winning bidder and occur between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. Winning bidder is prohibited from charging admission to this training. If you are already a CEU provider, we can provide learning objectives and a time ordered agenda. If you have any questions, please email David Celiberti at dceliberti@asatonline.org
