Kids On Ice® and DC ICE Alum Maame Biney is the first African American woman to make the US Speedskating team! Enjoy a personal one-hour skating experience at Fort Dupont Ice Arena with Maame Biney at a mutually agreed upon date and time. The top four bids will win and enjoy this skating experience with Maame Biney!
Maame won the bronze medal in the 500-meters at the 2017 World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships. She made her senior team debut later that year winning the America's Cup at the U.S Speedskating Short Track World Cup Qualifier. Maame also qualified for the 2018 Olympics by winning the 500-meters at the U.S. Olympic Trials. Maame then won gold in the 500-meters at the World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships, bronze in the 1000-meters, and bronze overall. She is looking forward to skating with you!
