Item Description
Martha Campbell
Looking Over to the Beaver Valley
18" x 24" - Acrylic on Canvas
Unframed
"As I drive back and forth from the city to our place in The Blue Mountains, I travel along the eastern edge of the Beaver Valley. I love the view of gentle fields that take your eye over to the far side of the valley. The colours change throughout the year, and vary depending on the time of day." - Martha Campbell
About The Artist
Martha has been drawing and painting throughout her life. An early retirement from an in-house corporate law job has allowed her more time to paint, and she now creates works in coloured and charcoal pencils, water-colour and acrylic paint. The most common subject of her paintings are country scenes, often with barns or other interesting buildings, as well as beaches in the places she has traveled to. Martha has also created works from figure drawings and watercolour paintings of animals and birds.
