Item Description
Relax and enjoy a weekend stay at the Willow Camp's Carriage House in downtown Stinson Beach. Just steps to the beach and restaurants and shops, this newly renovated, historic home is surrounded by an absolutely amazing garden, which has been featured on HGTV and in Garden Design magazine. It is located only a stone's throw from downtown, as well as the beach - and yet, it is one of the most private, quiet properties in Stinson. The upstairs of the cottage has two bedrooms, with a TV room in-between which hosts a pullout couch. The Master bedroom has a king bed and a pullout couch while the second bedroom has a full bed. Upstairs is also where the bathroom is located, with a shower and toilet. Meander through the garden, you may meet someone from our other rental at the top of the garden - if so, say hello and make a new friend! Take a moment and sit by the pond and listen to the frogs, go over to the veggie garden and see what has popped up that you can use for your evening meal. You will enjoy your getaway so much so that you will be feeling better than when you came. This property truly has to be experienced, it is a one of a kind.
Included in this weekend getaway is a traditional tribal Bantu basket, valued at $575, and beautifully woven with color, texture, and design. It is functional in all seasons. Sturdy and practical. The Basket, donated by Nasy Green, can be used as you desire, inside and outdoors and all around Stinson.
Also, take home a memento photo framed canvas print, 24in x 20in, of a Northern Harrier, which can be seen flying over low waves and surrounding lowlands, from local photographer Clint Graves, valued at $100.
Additional details: Subject to availability. Not available on holidays. Cleaning fee included. 6 people maximum.
Donors: Lovisa and Steve Rubin, Clint Graves and Nasimiyu Green.
