CAPTION
By Photographer Alan Messer:
Diana Ross was in London to promote her first solo album, DIANA ROSS, after the Supremes, released June, 1970.
I attended an EMI Records press reception to meet journalists and get pictures taken.
Diana Ross was one the most beautiful women this shy nineteen-year-old had ever met.
("Baby Love” was one of my first 45 singles).
The other photographers were taking gimmicky pictures, so I asked her to pose for me.
Two decades ago I sent Diana Ross a signed print.
